Shirley Douglas is owner and creative director at Douglas Design, an outsourced graphic design firm in Gorham, Maine. After receiving 2 degrees in college, one in Business Management and the other in Graphic Arts/Printing Technology, Shirley’s career story begins.
Shirley started out as an in-house graphic designer for a non-profit located in Portland, Maine, where she was responsible for designing and producing all of their marketing materials. From there, she went to work in the prepress department for a local printer, learning all the different facets of design and the printing process. In March 2008, Shirley launched Douglas Design with a mission to provide creative graphic and printing solutions to all of her clients.
Shirley is a member of the Gorham Business Exchange, Midcoast Business Exchange (BNI), and Association for Consulting Expertise (ACE). She resides in Gorham with her wonderful husband and daughter.
When Shirley is not working on growing her business, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, singing in church and cooking. |
